Coffee on a fork
Caffe in forchetta
Coffee on a fork can be served instead of coffee as a sweet full stop after an opulent Italian dinner. And it is quite easy to make too.
Ingredients
4 eggs
80 g (1 dl) sugar
100 ml (1 dl) very strong espresso coffee
300 ml milk
1 tbsp flour
Preparation
Beat eggs and sugar until white.
Add flour and when it is wholly absorbed coffee and milk.
Pour the pudding mixture into silicone muffin cups or a flat baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Bake in bain-marie water bath for 50 minutes at 175 C (350 F)
Leave the custard in the refrigerator for at couple of hours before serving.
Give the coffee on a fork a spoonful of whipped cream or yogurt sprinkled with instant coffee or cocoa before serving.

I zoomed in on this pic as much as I could. Guess I’ll have to make it to see (and taste) it better. Looks perfect for after a wonderful Italian dinner.
Brown is not the most appetizing colour. But the taste and texture is really good.
