The ten provinces of the region are Florence, Arezzo, Grosseto and Siena to the South bordering Lazio and Umbria. Livorno, Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia and Prato in the central part of the region. And Massa Carrara to the North. The region has a total population of 3.68 million.

In Toscana-Tuscany there are beaches and mountains. Deep woods and hilly vineyards. Medieval villages, ancient castles, charming hilltowns and wonderful spas. Not to mention the cities with their outstanding collection of art and World Heritage sites such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the historic centres of San Gimignano, Siena, Pienza and Florence along with the in Val d’Orcia and the Medici Villas and Gardens. It is not a cliché to claim that there’s something for everyone in Tuscany.

There's no better way to unwind after a long day of exploring Florence than by ducking into an intimate enoteca, or wine bar.
